Shipping Information
Delivery Areas
Lensify delivers to residential and business addresses across South Africa. We do not currently offer international shipping.
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been confirmed and any required prescription has been successfully verified.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Major cities: 1-3 business days
- Outlying and rural areas: 3–5 business days
Delivery times may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, or stock availability.
Shipping Fees
Free shipping is available on orders over R900. Orders that do not meet the free-shipping threshold will incur a delivery fee of R89.
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email to follow your delivery.
Prescription Requirements
In accordance with South African optometric regulations, a valid contact lens prescription is required before dispensing lenses.
Prescriptions must be no older than 12 months. Orders requiring prescription verification may be delayed until valid documentation is received. If a prescription cannot be verified, Lensify reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Returns Policy
Due to the medical and hygienic nature of contact lenses, returns are subject to strict conditions.
Change of Mind
Returns for change of mind are only accepted for unopened, sealed products returned within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
Incorrect or Defective Items
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging.
Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the circumstances.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used contact lens boxes
- Trial or sample lenses
- Clearance or promotional items
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be subject to the returns policy.
Consumer Protection Act
This policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your statutory consumer rights.
